J. Peter McLemore, III, DDS
“I enjoy being able to use a combination of art and science to improve my patients’ quality of life and build relationships. I can’t imagine anything I’d rather do.”
Dr. Pete’s interest in dentistry began years ago as a child when he would spend his summer vacation helping his dad in the dental lab. Today, Dr. Pete enjoys creating healthy, beautiful smiles in the Jackson community.
Dr. Pete and his wife, Nancy, have three children, Jay, Rachel, and Thomas. All three are married with kids of their own and have followed in their parents footsteps by pursuing careers in the healthcare profession. Dr. Pete and Nancy are proud grandparents and love spending time with their five grandchildren.
Staying healthy and active is important to Dr. Pete. In high school and college, he ran track and cross-country. Dr. Pete still enjoys running and working out at the gym. He also enjoys trout fishing on the White River in Arkansas.
Local and foreign missions are close to Dr. Pete’s heart. He partners Nathan Young of Jackson’s Care Center, providing dental service at no charge to the ladies served by this ministry. He has participated in a number of medical/dental mission trips to Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Haiti, serving the dental needs of peoples in remote regions and sharing his love of Christ.
